Are my photos uploaded?
No. BestKeeper analyzes photos on your iPhone. Images, thumbnails, recognized text, photo identifiers, filenames, album names, capture times, locations and face information are never sent to our servers or analytics providers. Purchases and enabled service features can use the internet; see our Privacy Policy.
Does BestKeeper delete anything automatically?
No. Suggestions are only suggestions. Photos you choose to clear first go to a basket. Deletion only happens after you tap Clear and confirm in the iOS system dialog.
Can I recover a photo after clearing it?
Normally, yes. Open Photos, find Recently Deleted under Utilities, unlock it, then select the item and choose Recover. Items are generally recoverable for 30 days unless you permanently delete them sooner. See Apple’s recovery guide.
Why didn’t my available storage increase?
Items in Recently Deleted can continue to use storage. With Optimize iPhone Storage, some originals are stored in iCloud, so a cleanup may mainly affect iCloud storage. All space figures in BestKeeper are estimates. Read the storage explanation before permanently clearing anything.
Can I use it without full photo access?
Yes. With limited access, BestKeeper can only analyze the photos you select. Full access lets it find similar shots across your library. You can change permission in iPhone Settings at any time.
When can I download BestKeeper?
BestKeeper is preparing for its App Store launch. It is being built for iPhone running iOS 18 or later. This website will link to the App Store when the app becomes available.
